Robby the Roo 10 - 13

It was all of their brothers and sister and others
Rob's smile was starting to go.

The canoe started sinking
and Robby was thinking....Why didn't I JUST SAY NO!!

There was Rubert and Ricky and Roey and Robin
in there with all of their mob.
They were all getting wet, and angry you bet,
but no one as angry as ROB!

The canoe..... well it sank!
And they swam to the bank
all wet and tired and sad.
"WE"VE NO NEED FOR CANOES,"
Yelled Rob to the roos!
Oh .......it really isn't that bad.

Robby the Roo 5-9

 

He climbed into it. It wobbled a bit,
he took up his paddle with glee.
He was off on his way, 'til he heard someone say...........

 "Is there room enough in there for me?"
It was Rubert the Roo,
'You can come along too," said Rob with a smile on his face.
They were off on their way, 'til they heard someone say........YOO HOO, YOO HOO,YOO HOO!

 It was Robin the Roo, and her wee Joey too
"You can come," said Rob with much smaller smile a smile.
They were off on their way, 'til they heard someone say.....
YOO HOO, YOO HOO, YOO HOO!

It was Ricky the Roo,
"You can come along too," 
said Rob with a bit of a smile.
They were off on their way
'til they heard someone say....
YOO HOO, YOO HOO, YOO HOO!

Introducing Robby the Roo 1-4

 Robby the Roo built a canoe
with intentions of sailing away..........

 He built it you see, from a eucalypt tree.........

It took him three weeks and a day.

Farmer Fox Stopped, dropped his hoe and began to sing along....

At last he cornered them
"Gotcha", he shouted!!!
He raised his Hoe as if to chop them up for a tasty rabbit stew.
Foot, Foot-Foot and Foot-Foot-Foot were certain they were about to meet their maker!

But when he came to the carrot patch he got a big surprise!!!!!
He found the brothers.......you know who, asleep in his garden maze.

In the morning, Farmer Fox came to work in his garden filled with thoughts of how handsome he must be to have a secret admirer. He weeded and planted and pruned and watered.

By now the brothers were fat and filled with carrots, broccoli, celery rutabagas and all kinds of veggie delights.They felt as lazy as lazy toads and soon dozed off to dream wonderful dreams of tasty vegetables.

They filled up their little rabbit tummies, opened their fuzzy rabbit mouths and began to sing.....

They filled up their little rabbit tummies. They were so full they could barely move! So they nodded off to sleep.

With the gate closed and locked, he was positive the RABBIT-PROOF FENCE would keep out any gophers, chipmunks, stinky skunks and most of all.......RABBITS!! So with peace of mind, he headed off home to his cozy fox den to sleep. Little did he know, the 'brothers' were already inside his precious garden!

"This must be a gift from some secret admirer."
thought the wily Farmer Fox as he returned to close the gate.

As Farmer Fox stooped over to marvel at the incredible treasure lying there on the ground the brothers snuck ever so quickly and quietly through the open gate.

 As he was about to go through he noticed something very colorful on the ground. It was the most beautiful painting he could ever image to image and it was lying there on the ground right before his very eyes.
HE WAS SPELLBOUND!!!

It landed beside the gate. Not too close and not too far away. 
Quickly the brothers ran and hid just as Farmer Fox came whistling down the path.They managed to hide away and somehow kept their grumbling tummies quiet as he opened the gate.

Late in the evening, before Farmer Fox prepared to call it a day, together as always, they carried the painting to the gate. With a one, two, three... THROW ...they tossed it over the fence.

And PAINT he did.! WOW! He painted the mountains and the trees. He painted a big beautiful  lake and a big, beautiful, blue sky full of birds and butterflies.Oh, it was a sight to behold!

Foot found an old wooden sign. The years and the weather had worn everything on the surface away. What a perfect canvas for Foot-Foot-Foot  to paint something SENSATIONAL on!

They collected sticks and chewed the ends to make brushes.

TOGETHER, the brothers made paints out of the petals of flowers and different colored rocks and sands they found up in the mountains.

Now Foot was very good at playing the guitar and Foot-Foot was very good at making people laugh. However, what no-one ever knew was that Foot-Foot-Foot was very, very good at art!

Oh they must come up with the ideal plan to get inside!
Putting their three rabbit brains together, they began to think great thoughts. Smoke poured out of there fuzzy, rabbit ears and soon a plan was hatched!
